The Great Whore
“And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:” (Rev 17:1 KJV)
The Bible uses spiritual adultery to represent apostasy and unfaithfulness to God. The great whore represents the adulterous state of Babylon and false religion.

Armageddon is the hill of Megiddo. More specifically, here it’s referring to a great battlefield in Megiddo. Here Satan has gathered his troops to war against God and His people. This is the final battle of the tribulation period.

What we see as our saddest day is also his greatest victory. Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor can we imagine the joy he is receiving right now.

This is the third blessing statement of the apocalypse. Jesus gives us one more warning that He is coming quickly and we do not know the time. To watch is to be ready spiritually. To keep garments, also ‘keep your robes white’, is metaphoric of living in holiness. Jesus is coming back for those that are watching for His coming and have kept their robes white. This echoes Jesus’ statement in Matthew.

It has a nice layout, very thick and opaque paper, and a large print. The section-headings in the text are awesome. It looks like the Schuyler Quentel but with blue chapter numbers and dividing line instead of red. It could not look better in my opinion. I will use it for the text alone. Since there is a little bit of writing space at the end of most books, I’m treating it like a wide-margin Bible and I’m making some additions of my own.

The river Euphrates is a natural border between the East and West. Drying up this river clears this boundary for the kings of the east to cross and join the Battle of Armageddon. Isaiah prophesied of this event.
