Armageddon

16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.” (Rev 16:16 KJV)

As a Thief

“Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.” (Rev 16:15 KJV)

This is the third blessing statement of the apocalypse. Jesus gives us one more warning that He is coming quickly and we do not know the time. To watch is to be ready spiritually. The river Euphrates is a natural border between the East and West. Drying up this river clears this boundary for the kings of the east to cross and join the Battle of Armageddon. Isaiah prophesied of this event.
