War with the Remnant
“And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” (Rev 12:17 KJV)
Satan will make war against those that follow God and proclaim that Jesus is the Messiah. He is especially angered at those that follow God’s commandments and bear the testimony of Jesus Christ.

After being cast down to Earth, Satan’s goal is to punish God through a strong persecution of Israel. God protects Israel and makes a way for her to flee to the wilderness.

The middle of the tribulation period marks the turning point where Satan realizes that he doesn’t have much time left. He has been cast down to Earth and releases the most savage attack possible on mankind. Jesus spoke of this as the greatest time of tribulation.
