For my second look at BibleWorks 9 I’ve been looking at some of the new features a little closer. Specifically the Manuscript Project and the CNTTS Apparatus.
I’ve always like the idea of combining Strong’s Greek and Hebrew dictionaries with my Bible. For electronic Bibles, I always go for the Bible that allows me to click on a word and it gives me the Greek or Hebrew definition. The King James Version with Strong’s Markup and Dictionary of the Bible from Miklal Software Solutions does just that.
Sometimes I like to read a Bible that I haven’t marked in, just so I can see a clean text. Sometimes I find the markings to be distracting. In fact, I find the headings and notes in study Bibles distracting. Sometimes I want to just read. There is a way to mark your Bible and still be able to read it without being distracted by the markings.
BibleWorks 9 brings a lot of new features to your Bible study. The new features are some of my favorite features. They include:
- The Manuscript Project
- The CNTTS Apparatus
- The ESV Study Bible
- Four columns
- Difference highlighting
- And much more (click here for a full list)
The Defender’s Guide for Life’s Toughest Questions by Ray Comfort seeks to provide answers to many of the questions we face every day in the world. We are constantly bombarded with mockers and skeptics in the workplace, in school, on the Internet, with our friends, our families, and sometimes even in our Churches. This book provides answers to many of those mocking questions that people use to discredited God, the Bible, and our faith.
