Many of us work hard to read the Bible through in a year. That’s a great goal- one that is to be commended. The more we read the Bible through, the better. I recently had my hands on two of the top e-readers on the market: the latest Kindle and its rival, the nook. Both machines look great. Both have advantages over the other, and both are great for Bible study.
‘Snake Handling’ is used in a few country Churches in order to prove, or as a sign of, their faith. The idea comes from an interpretation of Mark 16:18, where Jesus is giving His disciples a few parting words and instructions before He ascended into heaven, in which he mentions ‘taking up serpents’.
Philippians chapter 2 tells us that Jesus is in the form of God.

I never go to Church without my notebook. The preacher will always say something that I want to remember and refer back to. Sometimes this leads me to study the topic further, sometimes it gives me verses to put in my memory list, other times it gives me a reference to use.
