Anger is extreme displeasure. Anger is not always intense and it is not always seen outwardly. If anger goes uncontrolled it is usually manifested by lashing out at others. If anger is controlled correctly it can be beneficial, just as Jesus angered when he saw the money changers in the temple.

Many times when things don’t go our way resentment can build up over time. This can cause us to become bitter over certain situations. Bitterness toward others causes us to be harsh, sharp, and resentful. It causes us to speak harshly to others and to be negative. It causes us to have a bad attitude toward others.
