Babylon is Fallen
“And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.” (Rev 14:8 KJV)
Babylon is the source of false teachings and wickedness. It represents the religious, political, and commercial system of the world. It is the system that the antichrist uses to control the world-powers. The angel pronounces the fall of Babylon to show that God is the ultimate victor, even over the wickedness and might of Babylon.
Babylon – 897 Βαβυλών Babulon {bab-oo-lone’}
