The Four Winds
“And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.” (Rev 7:1 KJV)
The four corners of the Earth refer to the four directions – north, south, easy, and west. The four winds refer to the atmospheric conditions in each quadrant of the Earth. The wind is driven by the sun’s energy and is essential for rain. Without the sun’s energy, there would be no wind activity. Winds acts as a filter for the air. Without the wind, the dense smoke from the earthquake and volcanic activity would basically poison the air. There would be no rain to water the Earth. This would kill any crops that are left causing animals and people to fight for any food and water they can find.
