Having love toward one another brings forgiveness. Forgiveness sometimes means we bare the burden of other’s mistakes. It sometimes means letting go of a situation even when you’re in the right. It means not having to win every argument.
Learn MoreThe first most basic attitude is love. Jesus includes loving God with the first commandment, and loving others as the second commandment:
“36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” (Mat 22:36-40 KJV)
Learn MoreAttitudes build the foundation of our walk with God. We are judged by our attitudes. This is the inward holiness that everyone sees. Our outward holiness is developed from our inward attitude. Our inward attitude governs our actions and allows us to conform to God’s Word. Holiness begins with a proper attitude.

It is the sequel to The Pursuit of Holiness and focuses on how to grow in Godly character by establishing a strong Christian foundation.
Learn MoreThe Pursuit of Holiness by Jerry Bridges is a fine work that builds Biblical principles and guidelines that we need in order to obey God’s command to live a holy life. Bridges doesn’t just make claims that we should live holy and leave it at that. Instead, he shows from Scripture the need of living a holy life and how to attain it. This book truly demonstrates the pursuit of holiness.
