The Depths of Satan

“But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.” (Rev 2:24 KJV)

Jesus makes a promise to those in Thyatira that have not fallen into the sins of the Church of Thyatira, the fornication and pagan worship of Jezebel, that He will not place on them the judgment that He promised upon those that followed Jezebel.

Cast into a Bed

“Behold, I will cast her into a bed,” (Rev 2:22a KJV)

God gives the Church of Thyatira ample time to repent. After the time to repent is over God will pronounce judgment. They used the bed for adultery, so God will cast them into a bed for sickness.

Space to Repent

“And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.” (Rev 2:21 KJV)

God is just. He will punish those that break His commands. Before He pronounces judgment however, He gives us time to come to repentance.
