Rev 13:14-15 KJV 14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

Ray Kurzweil is the AntiChrist. He talks with presidents, political leaders and CEO’s of large corporations about how we will live forever, how the dead will be revived in digital form, how the singularity will come (apocalypse) and everything will be great, no one will work, every desire will be fulfilled, all these will happen by the power of science.
He is the AntiChrist!!!
My take on Revelation 13 and 666: The two beasts in this chapter symbolize man’s science and technology at large. Technology is the 2nd beast, the one that works all the great signs, signs which demonstrate the great power of the 1st beast, man’s science. That’s why many people worship man’s science as an invincible hero. Thus the talking image of the beast should be some sort of AI (artificial intelligence) which personifies all man’s scientific knowledge. Ray Kurzweil is indeed an important secular prophet about the Technological Singularity, but not nearly sinister enough to be the final great Antichrist. More likely that will be the talking AI made in the image of science. I speculate that it will be an IBM machine with the model number 666, and that it will be smart enough to read the Bible for itself, and figure out that it is the beast whose number is 666: “I be ‘im, 666.”
