The Book of Revelation 10:5-6

Time No Longer

5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,

6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:”

(Rev 10:5-6 KJV)

Time can be translated as ‘delay’. Some have taken this verse to mean that time will stand still, but it is clear from the rest of the book of Revelation that time itself continues. The context shows that the word ‘time’ is referring to ‘delay’. In other words, the angel is swearing the one that lives forever and ever, the creator of heaven, earth, and all life, the Lord Jesus Christ, that there will be no more delay. The seventh trumpet is about to sound. The second half of the Great Tribulation is about to begin, which will end with the second coming of Jesus.
