The Ark in Heaven
“And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.” (Rev 11:19 KJV)
Moses was instructed to build the Ark of the Covenant after the pattern of a heavenly ark, the ark of His testament. This heavenly ark evidently resides in a temple in heaven, which is now opened. The opening of this temple produces lightnings, voices, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail. Opening the temple is heaven produces a storm so terrible that the earth shakes.
