The Book of Revelation 19:8

Fine Linen

(Rev. 19:8 KJV) And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

The clean and white fine linen represents the righteousness of the Church. The Church has been judged and purified at the Judgement Seat of Christ and are ready to go to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

The Bible uses white garments to symbolize salvation and purity.

(Isa. 61:10 KJV) 10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness,

(Rev. 6:11 KJV) 11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

(Rev. 7:14 KJV) 14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

It says we will be judged.

(2 Cor. 5:10 KJV) 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

The Church is referred to as a bride.

(2 Cor. 11:2 KJV) 2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

(Eph. 5:25-27 KJV) 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

(Rev. 21:2 KJV) 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

This shows that the Church is in Heaven before the Second Coming and the Battle of Armageddon. The Church isn’t seen on Earth after Revelation chapter 3 until Revelation 22:16 in New Jerusalem. The Church is in Heaven during the events on Earth of Revelation 4-18. The Bride is in Heaven, dressed and ready for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
